The Gainsborough Bath Spa has partnered with local florists ‘Flowers by Passion’ to offer a wonderful event for the perfect gift this Mother’s Day. Open to those looking to celebrate the occasion or try something new with their loved one, the Floral Workshop will take place on Wednesday 29th March from 2-5pm at The Gainsborough Bath Spa, the luxury hotel in the heart of Bath.  Guests can enjoy a tranquil afternoon, surrounded by beautiful flowers which they can take home afterwards. Guests will learn from the best as Jo spent six years working at a top florist in London before founding Flowers by Passion in 2001. This Mother’s Day, learn the art of floristry in a bespoke workshop over brunch, at Hyatt Regency London, where you and your mum will work together to design a beautiful bunch of flowers to celebrate the special occasion. While dining on an amazing banquet of seafood – including oysters, lobster salad and marinated octopus -, cold-cuts from Cobble Lane & Dingley Dell charcuterie, cheese with grapes, crackers and chutneys, as well as heart-warming desserts to finish grand, the workshop will teach you the basics of preparation, focal and filler flowers and creating that perfect finish. Afternoon tea

To celebrate all the wonderful mums this year, DUKES London will be implementing a special afternoon tea only available from Saturday, 18th to Sunday, 19th March. With a signature Kirk Royale cocktail and a  selection of delectable traditional sandwiches of roasted gammon, fig relish and aged cheddar on spinach bread, goats cheese and roasted onion squash tart, and more. To top off the celebrations, an assortment of treats are offered such as a blood orange compote or rhubarb parfait. For £60 per person, DUKES London’s afternoon tea also includes a special pampering gift for mums, D. R. Harris cleansing lotion and an assortment of macarons to take home.
